Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever, but the connection although may well be, that since Christ is the same, the faith is equally the same.

Only changeless high priest could be spiritually acceptable.  Since He unchangeable, we can have a great confidence that He will always take care of our needs.  He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  His external being never changes and accordingly his followers rely on Him.

His present reality give confidence, while forever looks as far as one can look into whatever ages lie ahead, it matters not which may we look, He is the same.  What Christ was in creation, He is now and always will be.

Hold firm to Him, to the confession of your hope without wavering, for He who has promised is faithful. He will not be unknown, He will be recognized, who quickened, guides, and sustained us.  May God bless you and keep you.
